What is MCCS?

MCCS is a central component of system operation, enabling us to meet the growing demands of the power grid today and in the future.

As a modular grid control system developed by 50Hertz/Elia, MCCS supports system operators in managing an increasingly complex energy system safely, flexibly, and cost‑efficiently—both today and (especially) in the future energy system with a high share of renewables and new grid assets.
