Event – MCCS Checkpoint 26: Bringing MCCS to Life

On 16 September 2026, the MCCS community will come together for the MCCS Checkpoint 26. Under the theme “Bringing MCCS to Life: From Code to Product. From Development to Operation.”, the event will showcase how MCCS is becoming an operational reality.
Participants can look forward to the latest software releases, insights from completed and ongoing commissionings, and practical experience from the 50Hertz and Elia IT landscape. The program will also explore the coexistence of established Energy Management Systems and new modular capabilities, as well as the potential of automation and AI-powered processes in the control centre.
The Checkpoint will bring together colleagues from 50Hertz, Elia Transmission Belgium and Elia Group with system operators, research organizations, software partners and representatives from politics, regulation and industry. International partners will complement the program by sharing their own digitalization experiences and perspectives.
